Great bike for the price, February 27, 2012 By This review is from: C1 Men's 700c Comfort Hybrid Bicycle Shimano 21 Speed (Misc.) I shopped around for a while looking at Trek's, Cannondale's, and Giant's, all coming in around $400-$500. The Vilano C1 was half the price with the same aluminum frame, suspension fork, and Shimano parts. It also rides likes a $500 bike. I just rode an MS150 on the C1 and I didnt have any pains after the ride. If your looking for a nice comfort hybrid, the C1 is a great deal.

What a LEMON!, July 8, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: C1 Men's 700c Comfort Hybrid Bicycle Shimano 21 Speed (Sports) Having purchased many items through Amazon, I was expecting a high quality product to go with the great service. Unfortunately, this bicycle has been nothing but a lemon. Within the first 2 weeks of commuting 12 miles a day, I had to replace the plastic pedals. The next week I had to replace the handlebar stem since one of the bolt holes stripped out. I've already had to replace the rear tire & inner tube since the tire is already worn out. Now I've had to replace the left crank since the nut holding it on kept coming off and apparently that didn't solve the problem - I will probably have to replace the whole crankset!
I would definitely discourage anyone from purchasing this bicycle. For me, it's been nothing but a money pit.
As far as the design of the bike;
1. Everything is metric.
2. The rims are huge - it's hard to find an inner tube with a long enough stem.
3. Cheaply made - parts break too easy.
DON'T buy this bike!

Good ride....., May 31, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: C1 Men's 700c Comfort Hybrid Bicycle Shimano 21 Speed (Sports) hey guys, great bike the picture didn't match though but the bike they sent me was better than the picture. it was black and white with all white rims. I believe the description said dark forest green but oh well. I put the bike together myself in about 30 minutes. just need to put handlebars seat and pedals on a bike that's all, but I still took it to the bike shop just to make sure. they charge me about 65 dollars to redo the whole bike. before I put in the shop the bike was okay but after I got my bike out of the shop the bike was great. cadillac of all bikes great buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
